Five Sheathed Cobblestones is part of a broader collaboration with leather craft artisan Sonia Ahmimou. The piece is made from cobblestones found in the streets of Rome and sheathed in Barenia, a rare leather tanned in a river in Alsace. These Five Sheathed Cobblestones are intended to be displayed on a table, to be manipulated and placed in different configurations. Over time, the leather will age and evolve in both tint and materiality •
